Winter Magic, Lindsey, Stains and Customer Service

Well, Chau's post sent me running to Lindsey and lo and behold she had black stitches on her body from a thread that the dye ran on.

Lindsey has been wearing the dress for three weeks in a New England home with a fireplace. There is not an ounce of humidity in my home. Believe me, my skin is dry to prove it.

LIndsey is going back for new arms. Customer service rep that I spoke with was lovely to deal with but never heard of that happening. I am terrified to let her out of my house but do not have much of a choice.

I don't know what to do about the outfit!

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! Your post sent me running for Kit, who wore the outfit from Thanksgiving weekend to last Tuesday. I am so thankful she appears to be "fade free." I had a really crappy day at school today (found two plagerized assignments while grading), and I think if Kit had been stained, I may have had a nervous breakdown.

I'm sure Lindsey will be back as good as new-- or better!

I'm so sorry on Lindsey! I hope they fix her back to new. when she returns, please check to see if the body will be gray, like they did with Kit.

My Nancy Drew wore the outfit for 5 weeks, and no stains, but Scarlett got her stains. So off to CS too......

Oh, wow!! I had the same reaction to Chau's post, but my Sabrina was spared as well!! She was actually the only one who still had her holiday outfit on. I changed everyone else the other night. That would have been a disaster!

I am glad they agreed to replace her arms. The CS rep I spoke to when the Radiant Rhinestones outfit faded on my Rissa doll told me I would have to pay up front and then they would determine if my claim was legit. I refused. I will just live with her the way she is.
